...during a lumbar surgery we have to expose the spinal cord and nerves, my assistant is there protecting the nerve while I take care of the disc problem... their assistance is invaluable to me.

Ross McDonald CSFA

Ross has been working in the medical field for nearly 30 years as a Paramedic, Surgical Technologist and, since 2005, as a Surgical First Assistant. He is recognized for his work in robotics, having assisted in over 5000 robotic surgeries in urology, gynecology, colorectal and general surgery. Ross is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Jennifer Zazueta CSFA, CST

Jennifer has over 22 years of experience and training in operating room procedures. She received her initial training in the U.S. Navy at Camp Pendleton as a Navy Corpsman and Surgical Technologist. After 10 years of working as a civilian Surgical Technologist, Jennifer received her certification as Surgical First Assistant and has since participated in nearly 2000 robotic surgeries.

Bill Faught SAC, CST, BS

 

Bill has over 25 years of operating room experience. He began his career as a certified surgical technologist and earned  his Certified Surgical Assistant credential in 2004. He worked in Richmond Virginia until his move to Arizona in 2016. Bill has extensive experience in gynecology, orthopedics, thoracic and plastic surgery. Bill has assisted in over 5,000 robotic surgeries. In his spare time Bill earned a Bachelor's degree in Management and Leadership. 

Nichole Olson CST, CSFA

Dr. Jason Reynoso MD

 

Dr. Jason Reynoso is an Arizona native, growing up in the Phoenix valley. Dr. Reynoso received his undergraduate degree at ASU and his medical training at Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery residency in Tucson, Arizona, and subsequently returned to Omaha to complete a Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He took a sabbatical from his position as Bariatric Surgeon with HonorHealth and was a stay-at-home dad for his two children during the pandemic school shut down. Returning to medicine now as a Surgical Assistant, he is excited to get back to patient care.
